Are you suggesting that Phoenix adds support for a Map datatype? If so, Phoenix is following ANSI SQL standards, which does not include this kind of data type. One way of having a Map datatype is create a table for that purpose. The primary key column is the key of the map while the other columns are the value(s) of the map.
