I would like to show my professionnal email address in public not my private address who I work for login in Forem. But no choices (same on GitHub 😞). If I want to make my email address public, I have to change it, so I receive notifications and newsletters on that address.

Why do you not give the choice for setup a public email ?

To validate that this is his address, Forem would send him an email containing a confirmation link to display the email in public on his profile.

Less spam. Better contacts.

I wonder if the solution here would be to do something like Github: allow people to have multiple email addresses, verify them and then allow them to choose which one they want to display in public

Oh yeah of course ! (The problem on GitHub isn't that, just when I login with Oauth2, he take the public email)
