Unread email icon count for Inbox only

Hi there,

Thanks very much for FireTray. Excellent add-on, particularly for Thunderbird.

What I would like to achieve is that my icon shows me all unread emails of just the Inbox folder.

As far as I can see, this is currently not possible from the settings.

As an idea, could the Inbox folder be included to the special folders list?

Hi Robert, how about the Only favorite folders option: it lets you choose exactly which folders are included in the count. You can mark a folder favorite in the context menu.

Thanks for your reaction. I ticked the favourite folders option but I don't get any option to choose a folder.

I am using version 0.5.3 on TB 31.2

Oh you need to select in the Thunderbird folder pane itself, not in the FireTray option window.

I checked Favourite Folder from the context menu of the Inbox folder.

Now it also appears as a folder in Firetray's preferences.

However, it still does not show the proper icon on unread messages?

Should there be a check mark for Inbox? I tried clicking on it but no check mark is showing up.

Never mind. For some reasons it is working now and the icon changes on new unread messages in my Inbox.
