Source license

There are a lot of source files including GPL declaration.
But the project describes that the license of code is New BSD licence.
Which is correct ?

Good question which is important for me too. I'm interested in using this 
server for my Windows/Linux game server but GPL is show stopper. LGPL or BSD 
are fine.

I contacted the author (Xilui Tang) by email, and he said the New BSD license 
applies to all of the project including the source code.  So the GPL 
notifications in the source code are out of date.
