At the moment, the recovery UI uses a lightning bolt icon for individual shares/shards:

We asked our designer to come up with some ideas for a better share/shard icon, and they provided the following designs:

When we last discussed this as a group, we agreed that 3 was the winner. I also think 1 would be a good choice. We should choose one and integrate it into the recovery UI.
