Please commit that sky, they're better for last levels of freedm. Edit: A good map for thats sky is the dm28 you can see the screens of the map in issue #51 |
Please clarify where you found the star/fractal pattern in that sky. A quick Google search shows other sites with the same image; for example: http://pixabay.com/id/abstrak-latar-belakang-merah-hitam-81839/ Please read the Freedoom README file, specifically the section on intellectual property, before you submit anything else to the project: https://github.com/freedoom/freedoom/blob/master/README.adoc#intellectual-property Anything you submit must be entirely your own work. Don't use images you found on the web to make textures for Freedoom. |
The star/fractal patern is a default gimp plugin so to speak. |
Random comment from the peanut gallery: The night city sky (Map12-Map20) is really nice and I don't think it needs to be replaced. |

For FreeDM realism isn't so important. Lots of classic megaWADs have replacement skies that are more abstract or in brighter, primary colors. That might be more appropriate for FreeDM.
