The background color of the node is meaningful for the user, for example, sometimes the user changes the background color of important nodes to green.
There is a problem when the green node is selected the background color changes to the "selected node" style color. The user does not know what the real color of the node is?
To fix the overlap, you can adjust the style of the selected node as shown below.

The cloud mode should be activated for the "selected node" style.
In this case the background color of the node does not change when it is selected.
The only problem is that the cloud state of the selected node and its sub-branches are all clouded.
If software developers add an option where there are two modes to choose from:
1- clouding the "selected node"
2- clouding the "selected node and all its children"
By doing this, the user has more options and the problem of overlapping between the background color of the "selected node" style and the background color of the node is solved.
