Hey, thanks for all your work on this component! App I am developing heavily relies on such functionality, so I really right want to get it right.
I have noticed behaviour difference depending on whether :item-projection is set or not. This behaviour can be observed on your demo as well.
with :item-projection (Demo 2) - after selecting an item dropdown remains under input widget:
this isn't the case for Demo 1 & 3 which nicely clean up after selecting an item.
This seems unnecessary to me and I am wondering whether it is intended behaviour or a bug.
Also, when focus returns to input widget the same single element list gets displayed. Would it be possible to only display that list (when item was already selected and focus returned) only for lists longer than single element? Hope that makes sense.
