  1. We need to find at least one sample query for every Theme 1 KG. There will be some in the data sheets collected by Theme 3. I believe that Theme 3 edited these to make them smaller and may have removed some sparqls, so it's probably worth reaching out to Cogan to see if they have any from the initial sheets.
  2. For KGs we don't have a query from, we'll need to reach out to them individually to get a query or two
  3. If we can't get one for whatever reason, then perhaps @mahir256 will be able to cobble some together based on his investigations.
  4. Once we have some queries, consult with @YaphetKG for instructions on how to update the page to make use of them
  5. Once we add each one, we should reach back out to the KG that provided it and point them at it and ask them to test it.

I have created a doc with all the sample queries from the data sheets: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zP_nSxk-_fqR4RaqNWwI5D2gtWQWBhosCGb6xmcJb64/edit

No SPARQL was included in any data sheets. I will ask Cogan about this.

Rural Resilience is the only group for which there is no data sheet. I will ask Cogan about them as well.

Sent Cogan an email about these things (cc'ed Florence, Chris, Yaphet, and Mahir) on 6.3.24
data sheets_queries_etc. - Christopherson, Laura - Outlook.pdf
Cogan sent the link to the original queries: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1npUpZyFdnFFzV65RCBIaakYqRX0m8JVE
I have copied them over to our drive here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/199VWFRHLAEc2ZzSWyAXeZ09qSqoAsbRG

Only 3 groups included query language: BioBricks, Bio-Health, and SCALES. That information has been added to the google doc at the beginning of this comment.

Cogan didn't have a data sheet for Rural Resilience. I sent Jiaqi a request on 6.3.2024.

I added 2 queries for SCALES, that were written by the SCALES team.

Mahir, I will happily add queries to the query page if you can write them. I'm afraid I don't see how to write queries for the majority of the statements because most of them are not really query statements, but rather in depth research questions that may require a few queries and other forms of analysis. And for those for which I could conceivably create a simplified query statement, I am just running into a roadblock because I don't know what the right things are in the graph (nodes, edges) I need to reference in the query.

I have not heard anything back from Jiaqi.

I never heard from Jiaqi.

The example queries are located here: The example queries are located here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zP_nSxk-_fqR4RaqNWwI5D2gtWQWBhosCGb6xmcJb64/edit

Update on status of these. 7/2/24

We have sample queries in Jim's repo on the "example queries" branch for the following T1s:

We still need queries for the following T1s:

  • CollabNext (Jim was still working on the sem-open-alex graph, once he gets that to a point he likes, Mahir can probably create some queries we can test)
  • Neighborhoods
  • Bio-Health
  • WEN-OKN
  • SAWGraph
  • SUDOKN
