Hello,

I'm very glad this roadmap has been released. But I find the density of information too high. It's very difficult to see a clear path. It could be very confusing for beginners. I find it way easier to follow this roadmap: https://roadmap.sh/frontend. Everything fits horizontally, and I can scroll to get more information.

I am very appreciative of the enormous time and effort that has gone into this project but I'm in agreement with @hughcrt - it's difficult to use in this format. I much preferred the PDF format of the Handbooks. I think the reason they became so popular was that they were in a format that could be emailed, shared on a corporate drive, referred to offline, loaded into an e-book app to have where you've read up to saved, etc.

There is a rather large "BETA" tag for this reason - we know the UX of the roadmap isn't ideal, but we wanted to release the project to get some feedback and move the project forward.

  • Being able to scroll through a more legible roadmap. This would require a redesign of the roadmap, which we do plan to do in future versions.
  • Combine all the guides into one PDF like the handbook. This would require some tooling, but is a good idea.

Thanks for your feedback!
