Description describes it well... I was using a direct copy/paste of the example code with a hard coded (absolute) path to somewhere in my file system.

That may be a limit of kqueue when there is no watch on the file/directory where the file is being moved/renamed to. I need to take a closer look.

I'm going to close this issue in favour of a #26.
