Please confirm that the survey isn't already in surveys_data before starting work on it!

(ha! I knew I'd written this somewhere)

See also other national surveys listed at p29 of https://www.icmpd.org/fileadmin/ICMPD-Website/Public_attitudes_on_migration_study.pdf

@fsolt How to handle multiple wt variables (e.g., year 1997) where the previous data (e.g., year 1992) had only one wt?

Dear all,

I have tried to add surveys to DCPO and it will be great if I can get advice whether I'm doing right or not.
For instance, concerning Swedish election survey 2010, I followed the instructions described at the following link: https://github.com/fsolt/DCPOtools/wiki/How-to-add-new-surveys
Then, I wrote down below csv

snes2010.csv

Next, I need to commit it on https://github.com/fsolt/DCPOtools/upload/master/data-raw
Related to this step, I want to get some advice.

The above document is an example!

All My Best,
-Byung-Deuk.

Question on "SETUPS series"

  1. From 2004, it seems that they are related to the ANES dataset. How should we approach these cases?
  1. Initial years have spss with '.sps' and ascii. I'm not sure '.sps' is something we need to approach as ascii or not.

Yeah, even the earlier ones are pulled from the ANES. We don't want this.
