Image field switches from "Image URL" to "Image array" after v4 to v5 upgrade

I recently upgraded ACF fro v4 to v5 for a large wordpress site. The process seemed painless however it looks like all ACF qtranslate images set to "Image URL" as output have been set to "Image Array" after the ACF database upgrade. This completely breaks my site :(

Manually going through all the pages is not an option as there are thousands, is there a way around this?
