[Bug] Adding a .svg file as a new template crashes the with an 'Out of memory.' error

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. add a template using a .svg file
2. Click on 'OK'
3. Program crashes and gives the cited error message on the command line

Expected behavior
template gets added, no error

Yes, I did have screens installed.

In the past I had installed templates on the device over SSH, but no extra templates are currently installed, either in the app or on the device.
