Reminder bot

This telegram can schedule you messages in the future. It can be used as a lightweight reminder app inside telegram.

Installation

• Install hy3 (pip3 install hy)
• Install syslog-ng (>=3.18). If compiled from source, make sure http and python3 support is enabled:
  • with autotools/configure: configure –enable-http –enable-python –with-python=3
  • with cmake: cmake -DPYTHON_VERSION=3 -DENABLE_PYTHON=yes -DENABLE_CURL=yes
• Clone ReminderBot somewhere.
• Add project to pythonpath: for example into a systemd file: Environment=”PYTHONPATH=[..]/ReminderBot”
• Edit your syslog-ng configuration based on the example.
• Make sure you edit the bot id to your telegram api token
• Make sure you edit the allowed_users as a comma separated value. If you want any user to use your bot, just remove allowed_users from the configuration.

Usage

Add your bot to a group chat, or start a chat with your bot. Available commands:

- /later 10s test message
- /later 5m test message
- /later 12h test message
- /later 1d test message
- /at 2018-02-29 test message
