Fyrox Editor crash on scenes with missing assets #558

Tried creating a template project and the game itself works but the editor crashes as soon as the window gets focus from my window manager
this seems too happen with all projects

I tested giving the editor no scene, and it seems that was the issue. The editor started and stayed running after renaming the autogenerated scene
the scene file was broken apparently, renaming the auto generated scene and creating a new one fixed the issues.

Hi! @IceGuye did some testing on their machine and it seems that it does not related to assets. It will still crash even if you prevent the editor from loading a scene by going to editor/src/main.rs and set startup data to None to prevent any scene from loading.

It looks like the bug is coming from winit, and it related to energy-saving mode of the editor which in its turn forces the control flow to be set to Wait and it crashes the editor. However, if you disable it (from code), it will work fine.
