Double slash in URL that still loads page page but failed to execute 'replaceState' #46

URL Example: "https://github.com//gabergg/react-scrollable-anchor/issues/29".
There is a double slash on the "https://github.com//". Using the lib, we got an error:

Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'replaceState' on 'History'

Should this be handled by the package?
