Question : How I can qualify this library for use in a safety critical system

I was told that the checklist for qualifying a library for a safety critical system includes

• static analysis on library code base
• code coverage (gcov ??)
• Check for any dynamic memory usage by the library
• Profiling to check if it meets system latency criteria (have to write dummy app that simulates real use case)

Any guidelines or recommendation from the users or community experts ?, never done such an exercise before so having a starting problem. Any precedence for this kind of exercise already exists ?. Thank you.
