I'd like to use these features on clevo N850HK1:

1. Does this package have any chance of working?
2. Is it safe to install it if it won't be compatible?
3. How to uninstall?

I'd love to get this to function better on the N850HK1 as well.

@11111010000 This works with it, but there aren't many options. It's basically random and fade are all that work. You can't set specific colors unfortunately. Hopefully this will be available in the future.

I have a Clevo N950KP and it appears I have the same experience as theaaronmartin where only the random_* entries work. I have no idea how to provide any useful information that would help you upgrade the code.
