not creared makefile

Describe the bug

When I attempt install FinalCut library was not creared makefile. But was created files Makefile.am and Makefile.in after execute command "./configure --prefix=/usr"

I use Linux Debian 10

Installing to /usr/include

What can I to fix this problem?

Hello gasovich, Debian 10 is perfect. I am also developing with Debian 10 here. Unfortunately, without your screen output from configure, I can only guess what could be the cause. Probably not all necessary packages were installed. You can find a list of dependencies in the FAQ.

As there has been no feedback from gasovich since August 1, 2021, and Debian 10 is now considered oldstable, I will close this issue. If gasovich or anyone else encounters a similar problem installing the FINAL CUT library on a newer version of Debian, they are welcome to start a new discussion.
