For now, every time i add a taxonomy i need to go under the "Assignments" page and select the new taxonomy term under the "Taxonomy: My taxonomy".

I'd like to automate this process in some way, i cannot use the "Context" -> "Taxonomy" because i have different outlines for different taxonomies.

Is there a way to easily add a "Page Context" that could relate to my taxonomy?
Anything i can add to functions.php?

I did a search and could not find anything related.

Thanks.

Hello there,

Thanks for patience. To be honest, we hadn't really had a documented process for this. There is a related pull request: gantry/gantry5#2045 that might yield the results you're looking for.

Our dev team has to give it a once-over and merge it in. Hopefully this helps.

Actually on that project i ended up editing the "assignment.yaml" adding something like:

taxonomy:
  my_taxonomy: true

Which assigns all the my_taxonomy terms to a specific gantry template.
Of course it needs to be done via FTP editor.
