Considering the toolbox is built on an old version of Qt, I wouldn't be surprised... better wait for them to release the new version... hopefully it will come some time in the fall.

The error message points to QT being the point of failure.

The Project Manager now replaces the old Toolbox. It may be found here: https://github.com/GarageGames/Torque3D-ProjectManager and under that repo's Downloads section are compiled version that include all neccessary libraries. Please try that out and let us know if it works under Windows 8.

The new project manager is working fine for me on Windows 8.

I prefer using new project manager rather than old Toolbox....
