Installed on a vault (with Minimal theme plus a few other plugins)...
Cannot see commands in Command palette. Works in another vault with different themes and some different plugins.

  • Disabled all other plugins - still not working.
  • Changed theme to default - still not working.
  • Uninstalled all other plugins - still not working.

(BTW, restarted Obsidian after each step)...

Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Have you reinstalled the plugin? There is no reason this shouldn't be working on the default vault or one with custom themes, plugins, settings.

Hi Gavin,
Thanks for responding 👍
Yes, I have reinstalled, and done the usual restart etc. I have again tried it in other existing and new vaults, and it works fine, therefore I must assume it is an issue with another plugin - going to try reverting my existing vault to a default setting and see what happens...

Hi Gavin,

So as to narrow things a little, these are the plugins I have installed and enabled:

  • Buttons
  • cMenu
  • Contextual Typography
  • Dataview
  • Kanban
  • MetaEdit
  • Minimal Theme settings
  • QuickAdd
  • System Dark Mode
  • Tag Wrangler
  • Timeline

The theme I am using is Minimal.

In order to try and remove this, I effectively ‘reset’ my existing vault to a default one with no plugins and the default theme.

I then installed your plugin, which worked.

I then reinstalled the Minimal theme and each plugin (in the above order), while restarting Obsidian each time and testing if Things Link worked…

Everything worked until I reinstalled Dataview - at that point Things Link stopped.

Reverted back to resetting, and installed everything except Dataview - sadly while I thought I had found the issue, Things Link again didn’t work.

The commands do not appear in the command palette, and a hotkey combo I had set didn’t work either.

Hope this helps - eager to resolve it as the plugin is incredibly useful :)

Hmm, I think I'm eating humble pie...I seem to have missed the issue that the plugin works only in editing mode :( I do apologise...feel free to delete this thread!
