The arrterian.nix-env-selector VSCode extension (bootstrapped) requires a shell.nix to load the environment's tools, but none is created for flake projects.

For flake projects, a shell.nix should be bootstrapped using edolstra/flake-compat with an appropriate comment to explain its presence.
