Just wanted to say I am super impressed with your work! Really love the website and style that you have put together.

I am working on a scientific writing tool, which I would love to export to something like this. I will take a look, but if you have ideas to make this sort of thesis-as-a-website something that more people can do, I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks! I'm glad you found it useful! Curvenote looks really cool (and needed).

I have thought a lot about how to make scientific research reproducibility more boilerplate, including the generation of websites for individual papers. I've made both of these a template and hope to write something up about them over the coming months.

One other person has used this PhD website for their own thesis, but I know that there were some issues in getting it working.

I think to make this kind of thing easier for people to do, it needs to be packaged as a formal "thesis environment" (maybe a phd docker image). I'd love to chat more with you about it and what your thoughts are in making this kind of thing more accessible

That would be awesome - you can book me here or send me an email (rowan@curvenote.com). I would love a tour around your efforts and I can show some of the things we are trying to do as well. We just released some templating libraries for latex (jtex) and would love to be able to compile/template between something like this as well as standard university templates without any extra effort.
