We have 2 sources of data that is relevant to users: Google Analytics and the app databases.
Both of those are used for generating reports in https://github.com/gctools-outilsgc/data-report
We will likely need to at least partially build a solution for this ourselves that provides access to data from both sources to some extent.

I propose starting with automating / scheduling the running of the data report, or at least the parts of it that don't currently require manual steps, such as pulling gcconnex / pedia data, and go from there. This way we should be able to get a good idea of a good chunk of the issues we would run into for a broader solution early on top of getting a chunk of a process that's normally done more manually by me to be more automated and hopefully get someone else familiar with it while we're at it.

Could someone please fill out the description more, I'm not sure what this is about. Thanks!

I'm assuming this is about self-serve type solutions to users, groups, etc. asking for various metrics generally about their wiki pages, gcpedia / collab groups, etc. if that's the case then getting a list of the most common types of data requests would be useful. too as part of the description.
