Some features of extension not working on some sites

The extension is not working on some sites e.g. www.stackoverflow.com.
Features not working: omnibar, navigation keys i.e. j, k, l, ;

To make the extension work normally again:

• Press the "f" key to highlight all the links
• Press "escape" key to remove the highlights
• now the extension works normally.
• refreshing the page makes it unusable again.

What's your browser name, browser version and Vimium C version?

What will it do if you press "o" to show the Vomnibar, before pressing "f" and then "esc" ? Could you give more details?

I am using chrome Version 87.0.4280.66 (Official Build) (64-bit) and vimium Version 1.87.0.

It doesn't show up i.e. nothing happens. Even "b", "B", "O" doesn't work.

I just tested on Chrome 87 with a fresh user data folder, and didn't reproduce this. Maybe something others affect it - for example, what's the status of you CapsLock?

It is off.

While the stackoverflow site is loading, it works and stops the moment the loading of site completes. I have tried disabling all extension but the result remains the same.

It is working on some pages and not working on others. It is quite inconsistent.

It works on logging out of stackoverflow but on medium, it doesn't work either way.

Oh thanks for your detailed and accurate reports. I've reproduced it and found a fix (at least working on the example URL).

It will be in v1.87.2, or you may try this zip file: vimium_c-1.87.2-chrome-64b14e1.zip before v1.87.2 gets approved by Chrome Web Store (v1.87.2 has been visible).
