How to create a bootable GeckoLinux USB key

In Windows:

Important note: Rufus is known to NOT work with GeckoLinux images.

GeckoLinux Live Media Usernames and Passwords

How to Install GeckoLinux:

• Search for “install” in the start menu or on the desktop.

How to Install non-English Languages

• Run the "Language Installer" icon on the desktop or in the applications menu, --or-- run language-installer.sh from a terminal.

Version numbering

• Here is an example version number: 421.151112.0
  • The 421 indicates the major openSUSE version on which this GeckoLinux spin is based, in this case version 42.1,
  • The .151112 part indicates that it was created on the year 2015 on the 12th day of November.
  • The last digit will normally be .0, unless I have to publish multiple revisions on the same day.
