Transects #452

Google only have this on a transect - https://developers.google.com/earth-engine/guides/charts_array - but that's about charting it, not extracting the data. Thinking about it, it would also be useful to understand how you can control the plotting of hte transect - how can you go x metres past a boundary (how tcould you define that boundary automatically?), how can you control transect length? Can you extract data periodically, or is the best done in GIS afterwards? (I don't know - I'm just starting out - but these seem like sensible questions) |

Here is a GEE JavaScript example for creating a transect. Credits to @gena. I think it is possible to implement it in geemap and create an interactive GUI for creating transects. I am not sure when I will be able to work on this. Pull request is welcome. https://code.earthengine.google.com/e31179d9e7143235092d6b4fa29a12fd |

Thanks - this looks useful. Could you tell me how you found it/where it's from? I've looked on @gena's Github pages and haven't found it after 10 minutes of hunting around. New to this, so thanks for saying Pull request is welcome! |

The interactive GUI for generating transects along lines has been implemented. See #454 |

This may already be covered elsewhere (in which casem apologies), but would it be possible to add the construction and extraction of transect data to the 'Export' Jupyter notebook?
