Check the pyshp version. It must be >= 2.1.3. Otherwise, you need to update it import shapefile

This is a strange issue. If you installed pyshp correctly, you should get v2.1.13 when printing it out. Try the following code. If it does not work, that means your conda env is messed up. You might need to clean up and reinstall miniconda/anaconda. Or try it with another computer. I have tested it on Linux and Windows, and it works just fine. |

I got the error when loading a shp file, either by script or using the toolbox. I have install the 0.8.15 version. The problem is also exist when updated to the latest version after calling geemap.update_package()
