Is there a way to use this role in the case where one does not want to manage the solr install itself, but just manage specific cores running on an existing solr server?
I could create a role just for core management, but it seems like it'd be useful to make use of the existing code in this role for creating cores and restarting solr, so I just wanted to check if this would be something in scope here.
