Failure probably related to poor setup in ThreadPoolExecutor. Similar setup described here:
grpc/grpc-java#3826

Discovered while making simultaneous inserts into Stac Service from and stac service was creating a new connection each time

Need to update to use ForkJoinPool and follow other instructions from Carl:
grpc/grpc-java#3826 (comment)
