I got the latest Transym OCR component (V5) and installed it. I guess it doesn't come with any support for Delphi, but there's something for V4. I installed this component (via the .dpk file) and it seems to install OK. But there seems to be a problem somewhere in that when you have a form with the component on it, you can save and compile it; but when I try to do a Close All, it doesn't work properly. And it prevents anything else from being done at that point. The IDE won't close unless you crowbar it from the Task Manager. I'm running D10.2.3 if that matters. I don't have this problem with anything else. It's clearly just this component. Maybe you're starting a thread somewhere and not shutting it down properly or something along that line. I have to kill the IDE, rename the folder where the project lives, then reopen the IDE. It doesn't set up the desktop properly, so I close it normally, then re-open it and it works as expected this time. Then I change the folder name back and I can reopen a project. But the one with this component on it starts this all over again.
