We would like to enable the c++17 standard.

  • Check if it is ok to deprecate cuda10 on target platforms:

    • Lassen (performance testing)
    • Pangea3
    • Others?

  • ensure c++17 support on rocm.

    • Frontier
    • El Cap

What sort of performance analytics do we want to do on Lassen?

Is anyone tasked to that item yet?

We have been already using CUDA 11.8, w/o any issues (so far)

All of our recent tests are on A100 h/w

We are using cuda 11.0.3 on Pangea3 since the begining of the work on GEOS as far as I know.
