No video output on Arch Linux 64

When running the latest Commander Genius git on Arch Linux 64bit, (retrieved from the AUR -- https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=47694), I receive no video output after running "CGenius". I see a large black window titled "Commander Genius (CKP)", but I cannot seem to interact with this black window.

i'm using all of the latest Arch Linux packages for software (http://www.archlinux.org/packages/). Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist in diagnosing this issue. Thanks!

Oh yeah, I think you should try the latest CG version located at Sourceforge, it's v0.4 beta 3. That Arch Package needs an update. It's very old

Thanks for the heads up. Where can I find the link to the source? I see the files listed for .4, but I do not see the source tarball: http://sourceforge.net/projects/clonekeenplus/files/Commander%20Genius/V4.0/

Are you sure you "git clone git@github.com:gerstrong/Commander-Genius.git" ?

Sorry, bit I find it strange that it shows v0.3.7. Let me check that.

Also try to delete the cgenius.cfg and see if that helps. Black screens are mostly related to Video Driver problems. Are you using the closed NVidia drivers or nouveau?

At least in SDL Mode it should work which is standard when you have the cgenius.cfg deleted. Let me check on your issue. If you didn't get the source-code from here, be careful. There are some older CG versions around the net and it's known that they don't work that well.

It looks like I was using another version that was floating around the net (git://clonekeenplus.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/clonekeenplus/clonekeenplus) .

Yeah haha I'm sorry I didn't get back to this issue until now - I had it on my list of things to get back to but I must have lost that TODO list ;)
