When opening folders for cursor.sh , it will freeze up the entire Linux system and render it unable to sue

Liniux 24.04 LTS

Steps to reproduce:
Go to File -> Open a new folder
System freezes and renders everything impossible to use. Need to restart system again.

Have to restart gnome to unfreeze. Instead of clicking the main button in the center, click the File menu option and select the open folder there. This is my workaround
