I hijack this topic for my issue since its same but running with p/guid 1000 version: "3.3"
services:
homepage:
image: ghcr.io/gethomepage/homepage:nightly
container_name: homepage
ports:
- 3000:3000
volumes:
- ./config:/app/config # Make sure your local config directory exists
environment:
PUID: ${PUID:-1000}
PGID: ${PGID:-1000}
structure: Homepage is 0:0, but config is 1000:1000 root@homepage:/data# find . -print | awk '!/\.$/ {for (i=1; i<NF; i++) printf("%4s", "|"); print "|___ " $NF}'
|___ ./homepageee
|___ ./homepageee/.env
|___ ./homepageee/docker-compose.yml
|___ ./homepageee/config/
running as root user: EDIT1: Found the culprit? It does not open the port somehow to the rest of my network.. weird root@homepage:/data# nmap -p 3000 localhost
Starting Nmap 7.93 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2023-12-07 22:03 CET
Nmap scan report for localhost (127.0.0.1)
Host is up (0.000031s latency).
Other addresses for localhost (not scanned): ::1
PORT STATE SERVICE
3000/tcp open ppp
Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.11 seconds
but from outside its not open. I did not have such error so far :-( |

Description
Using docker compose to install Homepage:
This is the content of my docker-compose.yml file:
version: "3.3"
services:
homepage:
image: ghcr.io/benphelps/homepage:latest
container_name: homepage
ports:
- 3000:3000
volumes:
- /home/alex/dockerconf/homepage:/app/config # Make sure your local config directory exists
- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock:ro # (optional) For docker integrations
Pretty much standard install, the problem is when i run the container the files don't get created in that specific folder.
There should be 4 files in the config directory : bookmarks.yaml - docker.yaml - services.yaml - widgets.yaml
However I don't have those , they don't seem to be created when i run the docker-compose file.
If anyone had this problem or knows how to fix this, any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Steps to reproduce
1.Create docker-compose.yml file
2. Run docker-compose file
3. Missing files in the config directory (not created)
homepage version
v0.6.16

Docker
