It would be great to have some kind of plugin system (similar to https://github.com/inorichi/tachiyomi-extensions) so that users can write and contribute their own parser/downloader for manga sites other than MangaDex.

Ideally a plugin should be easy to develop. The plugins should use a simple language (perhaps JS using https://github.com/jessedoyle/duktape.cr), and we should provide some commonly used functions.
