Error in embedded visualisation on first use with given parameters

When an iframe contains a visualisation for a parameterised query, and it's the first time it has been viewed with a given set of parameters, the visualisation shows an error:

Error: 'ApiUser' object has no attribute 'email'

If you open the query in Redash with those parameters and execute it, the one embedded in the iframe loads okay.

Seems like Redash fails to run the query to generate a visualisation for parameters that have not yet been used.
