OK, travis-ci integration seems to be working except that travis uses ghc-7.4.1 (see travis-ci/travis-ci#882).

GHC 7.4 has this bug http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/3867 which is fixed in ghc-7.6

yeah, actually i'll leave this open as a reminder to check travis ghc-7.6 status
