Does not work in Google Chrome since v3.0 #286

Instead of animating the transition, it just reduces the height of the image to 0 and stays there until you resize the window.

Is happening with your own demo:

What version of Google Chrome and what OS are you using?

Hi there, thanks for the quick reply!

I'm using Windows 8 CP and Chrome 21.0.1155.2.

Kind regards,

Just had a co-worker report the same issue on Chrome stable channel.

Have the same, Chrome 19, Ubuntu

Same, not working under Chrome stable 19.0.1084.54 for both Mac and Windows. There are no animation. Tested with jQuery 1.5.2 and 1.7.1.

Tested working under Firefox.

I can't seem to reproduce this in 21.0.1178.0 canary and 19.0.1084.56 under Mac OSX - the demo page works fine for me.

Try this:
1. clear the Chrome browser cache
2. Navigate to the demo page
3. Before the slideshow has a chance to cycle through all images, re-size the browser window
When the next transition happens, the slide disappears. To see it, you have to re-size again.

This seems to work just fine for me in Chromium on Ubuntu 12.04. Is it safe to assume that this has been fixed?

Kubuntu 12.04, Google Chrome 21.0.1180.79 beta, - work fine!

Tested in Chrome 21.0.1180.89 in OSX 10.8.1, Chrome 21.0.1180.89 on Ubuntu 12.04, and Chromium 18.0.1025.168 on Ubuntu 12.04 and cannot reproduce this bug. I am guessing this has gotten fixed, but the issue just hasn't been updated.

It' bug on mac : doesn't work on Chrome Version 21.0.1180.89 on Mac Osx 10.8.2 !!
I see the first image, then disapear, no pictures... until I resize the windows !

I also got another bug, were I just see the pictures swapping without transitions effects...

In Linux Mint 13; Mate Desktop enviroment and Chrome 22.0.1229.94, working fine, i will teste im my mac ate home later on.

It's working nice on Ubuntu 12.04, Chrome 20.0.1132.43
