Exporting collections

Very cool package. I was wondering if there was a way for this package to support scripting the export of collections to bibtex format for instance. I do this so often it would be great if I could just run a line of code and automate the process.

Right, this should be doable.

Apparently, there is a way to get data out of the Zotero API directly in bib format:
https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/web_api/v3/changes_from_v2

So I could probably take it from there.

Another option would be to look for some integration with the RefManageR package, which may be worth exploring anyway. I see they have a ReadZotero function, which I haven't checked out yet but may be relevant. https://github.com/ropensci/RefManageR/blob/master/R/ReadZotero.R
