INSTALL mpYALMIP
================================================================================
This software is a MATLAB interface that allows to use the SDPA-GMP solver
through YALMIP. It allows to tackle SDP problems that may internally require
multiple-precision (mp) to be solved successfully.
DISCLAIMER: This software should work on UNIX-based systems and Windows systems
(>=10), but it has only been tested with the following setups.
OS : Ubuntu 14.04
MATLAB : 9.0 (R2016a)
YALMIP version: 20150919
OS : Windows 10
MATLAB : 9.1 (R2016b)
YALMIP version: 20170622

1) REQUIREMENTS
================================================================================
Before you run the script "install_sdpa_gmp", make sure you have
UNIX-BASED:
1) GMP: download & install from the GMP website:
https://gmplib.org/#DOWNLOAD
2) SDPA-GMP: download & install from the SDPA website:
http://sdpa.sourceforge.net/download.html
NOTE: More detailed instructions to install these requirements can also be
consulted in the file:
InstallWindowsReqs.txt
WINDOWS:
Detailed installation instructions of all requirements are included in the file:
InstallWindowsReqs.txt
The requirements are:
1) Bash on Ubuntu on Windows
2) GMP
3) SDPA-GMP
4) MinGW-w64 compiler for Windows via MATLAB

2) INSTALL mpYALMIP
================================================================================
a) Default SDPA-GMP installation
The installation assumes that the SDPA-GMP executable binary file (sdpa_gmp) is
installed in "/usr/local/bin/". Even if this is not the case you may copy the
executable from wherever you installed it to the directory "/usr/local/bin/" by
running "$ sudo cp sdpa_gmp /usr/local/bin/".
NOTE: In Windows this refers to the path within the Ubuntu subsystem where
the executable (sdpa_gmp) lies, not the usual Windows path.
In this case, add SDPA-GMP to YALMIP by running
>> install_sdpa_gmp
NOTE: In Windows, during installation a Command Prompt will open. This is normal
and you may close it after the installation is finished in MATLAB.
b) Custom SDPA-GMP installation
If the SDPA-GMP executable binary file (sdpa_gmp) is NOT installed in the default
location "/usr/local/bin/", you need to specify the path explicitly by running
>> install_sdpa_gmp('/path/to/sdpa/gmp/')
where '/path/to/sdpa/gmp/' is a string specifying the path to your SDPA-GMP
installation. The path should be to the 'sdpa_gmp' executable itself or to the
directory, ending with '/', where the 'sdpa_gmp' executable lies.
NOTE: In Windows this refers to the path within the Ubuntu subsystem where
the executable (sdpa_gmp) lies, not the usual Windows path.
NOTE FOR BOTH INSTALLATIONS:
Please ignore any compilation warnings that might be displayed.

3) CHECK mpYALMIP
================================================================================
Run:
>> yalmiptest(sdpsettings('solver','sdpa_gmp'))
NOTE: In Windows every time you solve with SDPA-GMP a Command Prompt with the
output from the solver will open. This is normal. Once the tests are
finished you can close all those Command Prompts.

4) USE mpYALMIP
================================================================================
You can use SDPA-GMP like any normal solver in YALMIP. See the examples for more
details.
NOTE: In Windows every time you solve with SDPA-GMP a Command Prompt with the
output from the solver will open. This is normal. Once the solve is
finished you can close that Command Prompt.

5) UNINSTALL mpYALMIP
================================================================================
To uninstall SDPA-GMP from YALMIP and revert YALMIP to its "factory settings",
simply run
>> uninstall_sdpa_gmp
at the Command Line.
