Let's migrate the existing docs from the wiki to the doc/ directory of the project. One of the key benefits of this is that we can ensure that new features are documented in the PR where they are introduced!

Sounds good - subtree merge the wiki git repo?

That sounds complicated. :trollface: A snapshot plus some file renaming is what I had in mind. I don't have to be the one to do it. :)
