Atom has an open source plugin called pigments which highlights color values in their respective colors. It would be nice if our built in editor did something similar by default.
This would be especially useful for GitAhead users when creating a new theme.
JetBrains implemented a related feature in their PHPStorm IDE. Instead of highlighting the hex value, the have a square inside of the line number margin. If you click the square it pops up a color wheel. When the user selects a color, it replaces the current value inline.
