not able to install via cordova

Hi,
I am trying to install via cordova as below :
cordova plugin add https://github.com/gitawego/cordova-screenshot.git

Getting error :

Error: Failed to fetch plugin https://github.com/gitawego/cordova-screenshot.git
via registry.
Probably plugin spec is incorrect.
Check your plugin name/version/URL.

latest npm has problem. i had to downgrade npm version
