Working directory changes view in commit dialog steals the focus from the commit message window #1958

I'm working with a large repository, that takes around a minute to git status.

I open the commit dialog, and wait for it to load. I already know what changes I made, so I start composing my commit message. Suddenly, the changes pane loads, and steals my keyboard focus. The next key I press causes a random operation to happen, and the window reloads again.

Please can you stop this focus stealing from happening while I'm typing in the commit message box?
