Dear @github, as much as I love your platform, I begin to hate your App. This thing is just as inconvenient as can be, nothing feels comfortable and all editing has to be done through the tiny browser of my phone (which I have to force into desktop mode to even see any edit pen) while on the run. The current version of the GitHub App is just good for having a quick look into someones repository, but certainly not for any quality coding. If I open a file through your App, it is not editable at all.

I am sorry that my anger spills over into this Issue, but I would love to love GitHub on my Android as well - I simply can't! GitHub is the best platform to code with for me and I would like to dedicate more time to my Projects while in bed with my phone. Would you please simplify and restructure the GitHub App to conveniently display all features the web version of GitHub has? Don't be mad with me.

I can understand editing text files, but I highly doubt you can do quality coding on a mobile device. Nevertheless I agree with you that there should be edit features in the app.

@ADTC, it makes me sad that the App does not even display Markdown Tables correctly. Are you still working on your App, @github? Haven't seen any progress a long time..

Thank you so much for actually taking the minute to personally respond to my emotional outburst here, @fadils. It feels kinda weird that GutHub does such a wonderful job on their online platform but seem to care much less about the usability of their own App. If the GitHub App would be much more developer friendly, I'd be using it much more, trust me. But in its current state, it is not more than an awkward GitHub browser to me. Did you note down and actually work on the Issues I mentioned herein?

Yup. It's noted @SecUpwN .
I'll try to make sure that this repo is alive again. Meanwhile, a PR from you to fix this issue would be nice.
=)

@fadils You may wish to follow the development in the fork ForkHub (which had been released as a separate app in the PlayStore): https://github.com/jonanp/ForkHub

@ADTC yes, I've been in contact with @jonanp actually. For issues or PRs have been referenced by him then, I'm assuming it's been solved. However, not with this one. With so many things going on now, I might miss something. Is this issue solved in the ForkHub?

Not solved yet, or else @jonanp will make a reference here in the ForkHub issue tracker.

I agree. This function might come in handy in some cases where we need to make a simple change like an edit to some text typo to a release note or something similar.
