Unable to uninstall this extension for SSH remote

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled? Yes

• OS Version: Any

I am unable to uninstall the Gitpod Remote extension for SSH remote hosts. Once I uninstall it and reload VSCode, the extension always reinstalls itself automatically, regardless of whether the sync was enabled or disabled. This issue does not occur with other extensions.

@jimbozhang Were you able to get rid of this extension in the end? I'm experienceing the same now and this is the first Google result. Pretty sad to see no resolution here.

Please check that you don't have it anymore in remote.SSH.defaultExtensions setting. If it is still there, please remove.
