When I switch between a desktop where the dock is not hidden to one in which it must hide it automatically resizes the maximized window, before hiding the bar. Perhaps changing the delay to hide the dock is fixed :?

Thanks for the app is very useful ;)

Hi,

In order to assess your request, can you send me details about your config : Mac OS X version, applications involved, etc. I would also like to know whether you changed any of the default parameters for desktop and Dock animation (particularly speed). Also where your Dock is located can be of interest.

Besides can you clarify what you mean by :

  • Maximized : "+" button, or full-srceen app ? or even managed by a third-party tool ;
  • Desktop switch : do you user ctrl+arrows, or go through Mission Control (assuming you have Lion or ML).

On my setup (ML with mostly default settings), I am not able to reproduce your problem. I also would like to have more details about your configuration in order to investigate.

Regards, and thanks for your appreciation.

Ok, OSX 10.8 no more apps involved, only happens with maximized apps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxRpS5Zm8Ws

Thanks!

PD: Clarify, even if you see in the video:
Maximized : + button.
Desktop switch : anyway (mouse gesture, cntr arrow, mission control).
Default parameters., if you need any test tell me ;)

I can confirm this issue. To write about my other issue I maximized (+) a Safari window in my first desktop (as I always do), and played with windows and the dock on the second one. When switching back to the first one where the dock was hidden, it pushed my Safari window out of the way.
I used 4-finger gestures to switch between desktops. I didn't change the speed in the dock settings. I use Mountain Lion.
